AJMLS Student Bar Association

The Student Bar Association ("SBA") is the Law School's student government and main student activities board, elected and representing the student body. The SBA is the umbrella organization overseeing more than twenty student run organizations, each reflecting the diverse and unique aspects of the Law School's student body.

The SBA allocates the money from student activity fee to the student organizations, works to build a community among the Law School's student organizations and build relationships with other schools to enhance each student's law school experience. All enrolled students at the Law School are automatically members of the SBA.

The SBA plans various professional, academic, community and social events, including panel discussions, Finals Frenzy, the Spring Picnic and our annual Barrister's Ball. The SBA also takes on projects and initiatives as needs arise at the Law School. Our primary objective is to represent the viewpoints of student body, and serve as a conduit between the student body and administration. The SBA holds meetings throughout the fall and spring semesters to promote transparency, and all enrolled students are welcome to attend.

SBA has activities all year in which students can get involved. There are many ways to get involved with SBA and student organizations.Remember, it's your SBA and we're here to make your law school experience memorable.

If you would like to learn how to get involved, contact any member of SBA in person or by e-mail at sba@johnmarshall.edu.
